Buy a HHR SS... What could possibly go wrong...
https://www.copart.com/lot/23624658
This HHR SS comes with 107500 miles, clean title, and a bad manual transmission. It has a Lemon history which most likely is due to the transmission. Current opening bid is $125. I would throw a couple hundred if I had a place for it. Would make a fun little project.
It only needs a new transmission...

Buy it
Take the motor out
Put it in a Polaris Sling Shot
Die from overdosing on pure joy, and smashing into literally anything at a ludicrous rate of speed.

I would turn this into a small pickup truck. Weld the rear doors, cut off the back part, and use the rear door to make a new wall for the back.

If you are buying from Copart and not expecting a death trap, you need to lower your expectations.

My cleaning lady had one of these. The door fell off when it was less than 6 months old.
My bug guy also had one. They had to replace the engine. Twice.

Fun Fact - I learned to drive stick on a HHR SS with about 600 wheel.

My dad currently has an LT. It represents everything I love and hate about GM at the same time.

The first time I was ignored by a dealer salesman was when I looked at an HHR SS.
